Introducing Forging with Class

This one day class is great for the beginner. Students will learn the basics of forging and blacksmithing while creating art and forging new friendships. This class is set up for those with little or no experience with blacksmithing. The student will have a choice of three projects: a candle holder, fire poker or key rack. They range from simple to challenging. But all give you good experience to basic blacksmithing. During the class students will be using a gas forge. And best of all you will have a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

Class tuition: $200.00.
Material fee: $25.00.

Demystifying the Art of Repoussé Through
the Teachings of the Arts & Crafts Movement

This intensive one day class will give each student a foundation to start them on their way into a wonderful journey of artful expression through the use of the head, heart, & hand. You will learn repoussé from an arts & crafts point of view with a focus on tools, materials, and special attention on design composition. Space is limited to six students per class. Materials such as pitch and tools are supplied for use during the class.

Class tuition: $250.00.
Material fee: $15.00.

General Class Information

Class time arrival time 8:45 am to have coffee or tea and muffin and fill out paper work. The classes begin at 9:00. A break is scheduled at noon time for lunch. Pasta and salad will be provided. Classes end at 4:30pm.

Payment is accepted in the form of personal check or money order. There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $25.00. It is best to pay for the class in full at the time of registration. Another available option is to make a nonrefundable deposit for the class of $75.00 along with your registration fee. This will hold you place in a class. The balance is due three weeks before the class date. Gift certificates are also available. Please see our FAQ page for more information.

If, for any reason, we need to cancel a class your deposit and class monies will be transferred to another class or returned, which ever you prefer. If you need to make any changes, we must be notified, in writing, at least three weeks before the class. If proper notice is given, your deposit and payment may be transferred to another class or refunded. Postmark of letter is used as date for notification.

Students who are minors must have legal guardian present to sign paper work for class. The class is designed for students 16 years and older.
